The RT3674AEGQW is a synchronous buck PWM controller specifically designed by Richtek for AMD SVI3 CPU/GPU Core power supplies, featuring support for triple output rails. It adopts Richtek's proprietary G-NAVP (Green Native AVP) topology to flawlessly meet AMD's AVP (Adaptive Voltage Positioning) requirements. It utilizes a new generation Adaptive Quick Response (AQR) mechanism to optimize AVP performance during load transients and significantly reduce output capacitor requirements. The IC integrates a high-accuracy ADC for system reporting and Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) to store custom configurations such as output current scale, switching frequency, and overcurrent thresholds. Equipped with comprehensive protection features including OV, UV, OC, and UVLO, it can be easily programmed via an I2C interface. It is an ideal solution for SVI3 AMD core supply regulation in modern desktop and notebook motherboards.
