The RT8848AGQW is an 8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1 multi-phase synchronous buck controller developed by Richtek, optimized for high-performance graphic microprocessors and supporting the nVidia OVR4i+ specification with a PWM-VID interface. By utilizing Richtek's proprietary AC G-NAVP (Green Native AVP) topology, its operating frequency dynamically varies with VID, load, and input voltage, further enhancing efficiency even in CCM. For current sensing applications, it supports both a traditional DCR network for inductor measurement and a smart power stage (SPS) that directly provides a current monitor signal (IMON).
