The SY8286CRAC is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC/DC regulator developed by Silergy. It operates over a wide input voltage range from 5.5V to 23V and can deliver up to 6A of continuous current. In addition to its fixed 5V DC/DC output, it features an integrated 5V (100mA) LDO with its own independent enable control. It utilizes an "instant PWM" architecture to provide fast transient response and operates at a 600kHz pseudo-constant frequency under heavy loads. It is widely used in the power supply circuits of LCD TVs, notebooks, and set-top boxes.
