Product Features 

The JW5213ADFND#PBF (JW5213A) is a high-performance current mode monolithic buck switching regulator designed by JoulWatt (JW). Operating over an input voltage range from 2.5V to 6V, it delivers up to 3A of continuous output current. It offers a fully integrated power management solution with its built-in P-channel and N-channel MOSFETs. Operating at a 1MHz switching frequency, it minimizes the size of external inductors and capacitors while achieving a peak efficiency of up to 95%. It optimizes energy consumption remarkably by maintaining high efficiency (>84%) even under light load conditions. Packaged in a highly compact DFN2x2-8, this chip ensures safe operation through comprehensive protection mechanisms including internal soft start, input UVLO, short circuit protection with hiccup mode, hot plug protection, and thermal protection. Additionally, it features an output POK (Power OK) indication function for system-level power monitoring. It is widely preferred for applications requiring 5V or 3.3V point of load (POL) voltage conversion.
