3D Stencils consist of 3 parts. 

1. Main Magnet (Base Magnet) 

2. Stencil Spacer Frame.

Application: 

The chipset to be re-balled is placed inside the Stencil Spacer Frame, then the correct 3D Stencil is placed on top, and finally the Main Magnet is placed. In this way, the reballing process can be performed. 

If solder balls are used in the reballing process, they make it easier to remove excess balls from the stencil channel. 

Solder paste can also be used in the reballing process. However, this depends entirely on the technician’s skill.
