What is C4? A class defined by the stencil manufacturer for large chip packages like AD102. C4-specific stencils, magnets, and spacer frames are matched to each other; they do not fit other class magnets.
View all C4 products here.
Note: Main magnets may show surface scratches from post-production testing. Magnetic function is fully intact; performance is not affected.
Application
- Place the chip to be reballed into the spacer frame.
- Place the 3D stencil on top.
- Secure with the C4 Main Magnet.
If using solder balls, excess balls are easily removed via the stencil channels. Solder paste can also be used; results depend on technician skill.
