The NX5P3290UKZ is a precision adjustable current-limited power switch designed by NXP Semiconductors for USB PD (Power Delivery) and Type-C applications. Featuring a 29V high voltage tolerance on the VBUS pin, this IC offers an adjustable current limit from 400mA to 3.3A via the ILIM pin. It supports Fast Role Swap applications through the FO pin for Fast Turn ON functionality, while its ultra-fast Reverse Current Protection (RCP) recovery circuit prevents reverse current from flowing back to the power source within 50us. Housed in a 16-bump WLCSP package, it is equipped with comprehensive protection circuits including Over Temperature Protection (OTP), Under Voltage Lockout (UVLO), and Over Current Protection (OCP) with current clamping.
