The UP9642AQR1 is a fully integrated Smart Power Stage (SPS) solution optimized by uPI Semiconductor for high-performance CPU, GPU, and DDR memory designs. Unlike traditional DrMOS architectures, it features a built-in telemetry system designed for advanced digital power management. It transmits high-precision temperature reporting and synchronous MOSFET current monitoring data directly to the PWM controller. This ensures ultra-stable voltage regulation in modern motherboard and graphics card (VGA) power supply circuits (VRM). Its advanced safety architecture includes comprehensive protection mechanisms such as Over-Current Protection (OCP), Phase Fault Detection, Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), VCC/VDRV UVLO, and Thermal Shutdown.
