The uP9529Q is a multi-phase Synchronous-Rectified Buck Controller designed for high-performance graphics processors (GPUs), operating with an input voltage from 3V to 20V. It adopts uPi's proprietary RCOT™ (Robust Constant On-Time) technology, providing flexible LC filter selection and excellent load transient response. This controller supports selectable 3, 2, or 1-phase operation via hardware setting and is fully compliant with NVIDIA's Open VReg Type 3i+ standard with a PWMVID interface. It is an ideal solution for applications using advanced DrMOS power modules and inductor DCR current sensing. The integrated Power Saving Input (PSI) allows for dynamic control of the operating phase number to enhance efficiency under light-load conditions.
