Product Features 

The RT8249CGQW is a dual-channel synchronous step-down controller with 5V and 3.3V LDOs, designed by Richtek for battery-powered systems, especially notebooks and ultrabooks. It includes two PWM controllers adjustable from 2V to 5.5V, and two fixed 5V/3.3V linear regulators providing up to 100mA each. The RT8249C version specifically provides a mode selection pin, SKIPSEL, to select between Diode-Emulation Mode (DEM) or Audio Skipping Mode (ASM). It supports Connected Standby Mode for ultrabooks and features a CCRCOT control scheme that provides an ultra-fast 100ns response to load transients.
