The RT8207MZQW is a complete power supply controller developed by Richtek for DDRII, DDRIII, Low-Power DDRIII, and DDRIV memory systems. It achieves high efficiency and reduced cost by eliminating the current sense resistor found in traditional current mode PWMs. It features a 1.5A sink/source LDO (VTT) that maintains fast transient response. It is ideal for stepping down high voltage batteries to generate low voltage chipset RAM supplies in notebook computers.
