The RT8206AGQW is a highly efficient dual step-down Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) controller designed by Richtek for notebook computers and battery-powered systems. It operates over a wide input voltage range from 6V to 25V. It generates the main 5V and 3.3V fixed voltages or adjustable voltages from 2V to 5.5V for motherboards. Thanks to its Constant ON-Time control architecture, it offers an ultra-fast 100ns response time to load transients. Unlike the RT8206B, the RT8206A model features an additional SECFB pin to monitor and maintain an external charge pump.
