The RT6338BGQUF from Richtek is a high-efficiency, synchronous step-down DC-DC converter capable of delivering up to 8A of output current. It operates over a wide input voltage range from 4.5V to 23V and provides a fixed 3.3V output. The device utilizes Richtek's proprietary ACOT® (Advanced Constant On-Time) control architecture to achieve an ultra-fast transient response and minimize the external component count. It features a Diode Emulation Mode (DEM) for enhanced efficiency at light loads and an Ultrasonic Mode (USM) to prevent acoustic noise. Additionally, it integrates a 3.3V/100mA LDO, making it an ideal solution for power management in applications such as laptop computers, tablet PCs, and networking systems.
