What is C4? C4 is a class created by the stencil manufacturer to accommodate larger chipset models. 

This class includes specific 3D stencils, main magnets, and intermediate slots. Stencils and intermediate slots in the C4 class may not fit other main magnets.

Application: 

Place the chipset to be reballed in the intermediate slot, then place the 3D stencil on top, and finally position the C4 Main Magnet on top. This setup enables the reballing process. 

If solder balls are to be used in the reball process, they can easily exit from the excess outlet on the stencil channel, facilitating the process. 

Solder paste may also be used in the reball process, but this is entirely dependent on the skill of the technician performing the operation.
