The CYPD5126-40LQXIT is a single-port USB Type-C controller from the EZ-PD CCG5 family by Infineon Technologies (formerly Cypress). It fully complies with USB Type-C and USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 standards, providing a complete single-port solution for notebooks, PCs, docks, and Thunderbolt devices. The device integrates a Type-C transceiver with Rp/Rd terminations, VCONN FETs, high-voltage regulation, and comprehensive protection circuits in a single chip. Powered by a 32-bit Arm Cortex-M0 processor with 128 KB Flash, it offers flexible firmware-based control while minimizing external components.
