The uP1666QQKF is a high-performance 2/1-phase synchronous-rectified buck controller manufactured by uPI Semiconductor, specifically designed for mobile GPU power delivery. Operating with an input voltage between 2.5V and 20V, this IC supports the NVIDIA Open Voltage Regulator 2+ standard and features PWMVID. Thanks to uPI's proprietary RCOTT™ technology, it provides an excellent and very fast transient response to load and line changes. Packaged in a compact WQFN-20, this chip plays a critical role in repairing graphics card (VGA/GPU) power (VRM) circuits in laptops.
